I doubt either of those two could. Both showed a routine inability to fight a hard, consistent twelve rounds at HW. Tyson slowed considerably in the second-half of a distance fight, & Holyfield often took rounds off, coasted & just plain ran out of steam as a HW going twelve.

We know Holyfield could and yeah im pretty sure a young Tyson would handle 15 rounds well, i was just posting how during an early Tyson fight the commentator had said that Mike was one of the few fighters around that would enjoy the 15 round distance. Makes it even sadder that he turned into a 3-4 round slugger.

The Klitchko's could do 15 at the pace they are doing right now but the opposition is so bad its basically sparring. I cant see them doin the distance if they were in with a good fighter working a decent pace

Holyfield showed the ability to go a hard fifteen as a Cruiserweight, specifically. He had several evenings where he tired or took rounds off over twelve. Fifteen at Heavyweight for Holyfield would have been to his detriment, fighting the likes of a Frazier, or a Marciano, or an Ali.

Tyson never did have the greatest stamina in my opinion.
In order to do this he would need to save his burst until the later rounds.

Holyfield vs Bowe I was fought at a frantic pace with Holyfield still throwing leather at the final bell, i feel he would have done 15rds fairly easily

My first thought is Floyd Mayweather, he does his thing for 12 and looks like he could do another 10. Its a combination of conditioning, being economic with his punching and being so relaxed and calm in there that helps Floyd stay fresh
It's funny you brought this up because I was just thinking about it today. It makes me wonder if fighters today would train or fight differently. Mayweather, Pacquiao, Margarito,Paul Williams, and a lot of fighters in the lower divisions could be 15 round fighters I believe. I don't see any heavyweights from this era(outside of the Klitschko's) doing it effectively.

I suppose he has had nights when he has tired but i just watched his Cruiser weight Battle with Qawi and mabey over rated his HW stamina from that. Still he went to war with Bowe, i mean that was a real high paced tear up against a much larger man which is strength sapping and in the 12th Evander was still swinging away. I think Holyfield would do 15 well, not like a Frazier but well

Paul Williams could do 15 easy i think, but would his work rate suffer for it?

Hopkins looked like he could do 15 (at the right pace) at almost 46. Little doubt that he could anywhere near his prime.
