gut told me leonard and i listened.

    he could box
    he could fight
he was very strong at WW
    great chin
fastest man of the lot. supremely confident at his best.

and duran's hard to rank high in this context with ww's and mw's (up to LHW's)
it's hard to be considered well rounded when you're smaller than your opponents and forced to box

but he's certainly a very well rounded boxer himself. maybe the most well roudned overall.
his style at 135(a murderer with boxing gloves on,) was almost a complete 180 from his fights at 154 and 160 where he wasn't very far from a cutie

all four men were very well rounded
hearns had terrific boxing skills though his reputation as a puncher is usually all you hear about from the layman
and hagler, likewise, had a hell of a lot more going for him than his chin and proficiency coming forward

Stop making me feel bad as much as Marvin is my favourite fighter, I've grown to like the Sugar Man a little bit and it's not like the early days where I would be biased against him, he truly is a special fighter as much as it pains me to admit it.

Juanita - "I'd like to take this time out to wish Bertha and Marvin god speed cause there are wonderful people"

Ray: "This man wants to knock my head off Juanita-..."

Juanita - " I know but, they are nice people, I like them"

Ray: "...he wants to hurt me bad."

Duran and I don't think it's close. Deadly power in either hand... great counterpuncher, could box or brawl with proficiency, iron chin, great heart, underrated footwork, extremely underrated defensive skills, and a great strategist.

I agree that Duran was special,.. but Leonard edges him out on speed and ringcraft, and head to head he ended up in front of the ledger...... it's Leonard for mine.

Head to head was Prime Leonard against past-it Duran... and Duran still whipped him in Montreal.

none of them were that fabulous....

              hagler had the best body

              leonard had that smile

and duran had that ***y latino attitude

              and hearns, um.....

but the most well rounded was leonard or duran (both were exceptionaly clever, had great skillls in offense and defense and both were elite atheletes)

oscar kills them in the fabulous categorie tho

Haha Ringo once knocked George Chuvalo down in sparring.

I voted Ray Leonard. Hearns had a poor chin, Hagler was slow, Leonard just more well-rounded than Duran.
