I think the last time I watched it I had it 115-113 Mayweather, strange how you can interpret the same thing differently.
We almost had the same card, except the 12th round, I gave it to Oscar just to be grateful but not much did he done enough to win.

As you see, our cards are quite close; the differences being that I scored round 3 even, whereas you gave it to Mayweather. Then round 8 I gave to DLH and once again you awarded it to Floyd. Still, very similar tallies, and the two rounds we differed on were among those I listed as the fight's closest.

I have it 116-112 for Floyd. Underrated fight.

I had it 7-5 in rounds and 115-113 in points for Mayweather. Don't remember what rounds I gave who and was sufficiently bored by the fight to not want to watch it again to find out.

Had it 7-5 Mayweather originally; now I have 9-3 or 10-2

Yes, I felt the 8th round to be close, as was the 3rd. Oscar won the first minute or so of the 3rd round but let his activity levels drop as the round went on and as a result he didn't land a whole lot, meanwhile Mayweather was consistently landing his single shots and 1-2s throughout the round. A similar story in the 8th, although Oscar's activity was more impressive than in the 3rd. Mayweather's defence looked good this time around when Oscar flurried, though.

All in all, I feel that De La Hoya could've won the fight with a bit more activity. If he had've used his jab consistently rather than sporadically it could have been a different story. Of course that's easier said than done when you're a war-torn 34 year old and fighting against one of the world's best.

I think your talking out your arse on this one....... I usually agree with your statements, but this is absurd,,

2 rounds,,, you have to be kidding
                I gave him 2 or 3, I can't remeber if it was 2 or 3.

                One sided fight, though.

Can't understand this one at all, to be honest.

I can't fathom anyone who considers it close.

                    But that's just me.

I can't either. Unless you go by Delahoya's HBO cheerleaders who counted all of Oscar's missed or blocked punches as scoring blows, that night.
