Wow Mary Pierce was on the cover of that issue? I used to think she was so hot.

          Excellent.

Rock might have been compulsive but his need for cash is right on. All these guys had the IRS and Management looking at their earnings. Can you believe that even after he retired this guy (Marciano's manager) was looking to cash in? when Marciano took the 2500 in cash instead I am quite sure if we figure in taxes, his managers cut (50%) it was a smart move.

I would do the same thing....I would be all cash all the time.

This was a real treat to read, very nuanced, a look into the world of an interesting character to say the least.

Boxing characters like Weill were such scumbags. It was Kearns who drove Dempsey from boxing for similar reasons. Only Kearns had not thought to take part of Jack's money after he was retired from boxing. Kearns was also responsible for the ****** deal that earned Maxim 10% of Archie's Moore's purses, all for a chance to win a title which still was not going to pay off like it should.

Oh yeah...And I would be willing to bet that Don King looked at those numbers and thought to himself while in prison: "Why am I dodging bullets and bombs when I can be a crook and never go to jail?" Arum same thing.

                What a title.

A case full of vibrators? I thought The Rock would be instantly giving Suzie his Q, not taking the easy way out to get a head start.

Not the man I thought he was.

Interesting guy. Most powerful or famous men are not faithful

Chris Rock says that a man is only as faithful as his options. There's a lot of truth to that.
