IDK where Yorkshire’s answer to Tex Cobb goes from here. Will they feed him to the beast? Moses Itauma would, almost literally, kill the man. If I was managing Allenn I wouldn’t let him near Itauma.

i put a fiver on Allen to win and it paid off 21 . I was surprised that Fisher was the favorite after the last fight which Allen clearly won.

Quite entertaining, even at the level they're at, it was a decent British scrap.
They do hype guys like Johnny up, but that's promoting I guess, as they did with Jared Anderson. That said, nothing but respect for them, they are in a tough business.

At one point I did think Allen was gonna headline a Matchroom PPV. Had he beat Price in 2019, I’ve been told Allen-Povetkin was lined up for the O2 Arena later that year and I reckon it could’ve been a PPV headliner.
The fact Allen was pushed is quite comical really, because he’s terrible.
I was at his first fight with Lenroy Thomas aswell, also shocking.

The only top 15 Heavyweight he’d have even a slight chance of beating is “Average Joe” Parker.

I watched the commentary. I laughed when they said ‘great jab from Fisher’, Fisher’s left hand jab was the most embarrassing thing I’ve seen. if you just wave your left hand in the air that don’t make it one jab MoFo. Literally, Fisher didn’t throw & land one proper jab in the whole contest & that is why he lost. I do wonder, if Dave Allen worked his ass off in training & came in, like, 235, could he achieve anything?shenmue likes this.
