    Navarrete was stopped on a cut caused by a punch. That's a knockout win for Suarez, period. It's blatant corruption that they're changing this to a no-contest instead of a TKO win for Suarez.

                Navarrete will fall off a cliff shortly. He didn't stay at 135 for a reason.

                    The only argument I can see for not making Suarez the winner is that the ref may have figured Navarrete was going to win anyway so why make the cut worse. Had the ref thought (rightly) that the cut was from a punch he may have given Navarrete the chance to fight on. That's at least plausible, but not wanting to change a wrong decision to a right one is not.

                      Suarez was getting crushed, minus the lucky punch, and is going to get crushed again in the rematch. He has no skills to trouble Navarrete whatsoever.
