I have an asus rog laptop with a gtx 1080 and a custom gaming rig with a 2080 ti.

I got it hooked up to a 32 inch 4k va panel.

A friend taught me how to build pcs a while back when I was poor so I've just been in the habit of rebuilding mine every 3 years. Mostly because I like the money saving aspect of diy and living above my means. Current pc is an overclocked 9700k, 2080 gpu, 3400 speed ram, aorus's best mobo, and Samsung evo m.2 drives on the mobo which are ****** fast.
I use it for work as well as ******ing games with friends.

i built my own, its a 2950X (upgraded from 1950x), zenith extreme, 64gb 3600mhz ram, cdrive is 1tb 970pro (raid 1), rest is 5tb samsung nvme 950pro, 5tb ssd samsung pro, 12x8tb barrududa drives.

and havent been happier with my setup.
