Yeah, I'm sorry for snapping. Just imagine if you were him, busting your ass to be a fighter back then and taking on all fighters, even black fighters who weren't looked upon as euals, let alone allowed to fight legally. And they've basically erased his legacy.

Where did you see the footage? I need to see it. I had no idea footage of his fights even existed, it's difficult as hell to even find pictures of the guy. All the major players in the sport have blacklisted him (boxrec, ring magazine, etc...).

It was a strip of film at a private showing once... it only lasted like, 8-10 min, max, but I could see where you guys are coming from with it.

Wow! Are you serious? What was the story with this private showing if you don't mind me asking? Just asking because I really am a fan of Johnny "Tucan" McGinty, I would love it if it were true that there is indeed footage of him.
