    Rate The Giants

This thread is strictly a Gargantua vs Pantagruel affair. Who is the top GIANT in boxing history? We have to limit ourselves to champions, sorry. I will supply the list in no particular order, and you rank the giants in what you think is the correct order. George was big enough to fight anyone, and Liston was a giant in all but height, hence their inclusion. I am still ordering my own realistic list, as if it were a fictional tournament. I started with last place. Any match up can be discussed individually. Rank them as you please.

    1 Willard
    2 Lewis
    3 Vlad Klit
    4 Primo Carnera
    5 Vitali Klit
    6 Fury
    7 Liston
    8 Wilder
    9 Valuev
    10 Foreman
    11 Joshua

      ? Briggs
      ? Tate
      ? Fulton
      ? Bowe

      Makes for an 'even' 15.

A man does not have to win every fight to come in first, if he wins more fights in the tournament than anyone else.

I guess you can add anyone you want. Do you feel you can give a meaningful appraisal of Fulton?

Hi Queen, it's your charge, the Great Nash. Fury's success just eats at you doesn't it? Just because he beat your boy, Wlad, in Wlad's prime when he was in his 30s and something like 11 years unbeaten, unified champion and fighting at home. You know what, if you reverse your list, it's actually much, much better! Nash out. ATG boxing expert.

              Fury
              Vitali
              Wlad
              Lewis
              (the previous three are interchangeable)

              Wilder
              Joshua
(same with the last two one has no skill but a nuclear right hand, one has skill but no heart and his chin most likely cant take that right)

              Liston
              Foreman
              Valuev
              Willard
              Carnera

Absolutely not . . . But everyone should get a shot if they meet the tournament entrance criteria, being big. Maybe someone else might be a supporter.

I'm a Carnera guy . . . He has the superior footwork and jab to keep all the slow moving giants off him. Primo by UD across the board.

P.S. Except maybe Tyson Fury who is the only other giant who doesn't move like an oaf. I would add in Big George (1) but he seems to fall apart when his opponent could look him eye to eye. Big George (2) would find Carnera too quick for him, a la Tommy Morrison.

P.S.S. Liston doesn't belong on the list. Regardless of his fist size he fights like a natural size HW not a giant.

                1. Primo Carnera
                2. Big George I
                3. Tyson Fury
                4. Lennox Lewis

Then a couple of those 'Russian' guys; mixed and matched for extreme boredom.

                  - - Beat him using steroids at the recorded worst moment of Wlad's career when his baby mama melted leaving him scrambling to find suitable newborn childcare in the middle of training camp while dealing with baby mama psychiatrists keeping her medicated.

Flubber whom I used to rate quite highly to the forever British irritation of rating their losers over their winners, why Flubby quit training camp for the Wlad rematch to go on a 2 year self induced binge of drugs and drink and pie orgies.

Instead of making a comeback waving the Rainbow Flag, he waved the ongoing development of the flag of mental illness all while turning down record AJ purses to fight Deyonce for peanuts.

OK, U like the spoiling fragrance of soft, blackened overripe bananas and tomatoes. It's OK and good luck on your rotten journey.

Queen, I thought even you had more knowledge than that! He did not fail any test for the Wlad fight. He "needed" that to beat the incredible Christian Hammer, who he must have needed it for. Wow! So, so wrong. Live and learn, Queen. Now you know. Nash out.
