Just saw the trailer for the new George Foreman movie coming in April. Looks decent, hopefully it will be one of the better boxing movies.

I hate trailers like that -- now I don't need to watch the film they just showed me every plot line they had and I can figure out the climax to each.
I realize it's a biography so it has to be predictable at some level but how they approach each event can still be original. But I now know how they are going to approach each crisis.
Too much info. Looks like I won't be seeing this in a theater, more like a Netflix watch.
A critic once pointed out that what made Raging Bull unique/special was that it is the only boxing film that isn't a 'big fight' climax.
I think it is pretty obvious this is going to be a 'big fight' climax film and the climax is Moorer.
I already know I ain't popping $30 to see this in the theater.

Well look at that. I made a post about this idea a year and a half ago not even knowing that this was already in the works.

- - Watching mutts blow their $$$ on useless Hollywood boxing films would be priceless comedy save they support a marginal profit industry catering to knaves thinking the film is actual history.
I'll watch George fight all day any day.
Last Hollywood film I saw was that Peter Jackson Hobbit movie that reminded me of the part of the book I skipped over, something like 50 Battle pages of every critter imaginable getting run through, lopped off, squashed with a rainbow of bloody colors. That was 30 minutes of utter agony, the reason i like books better.

This film will tank at the box office. They're gonna need ******ing revenue to make back their nut.
Just don't see where the gripping drama lies; Ali's life was nothing but drama and the film Ali was a box office dog.
Ali made 60 million domestically and 30 million foreign, at a production/promotion cost of 118 million.
Foreman won't come close to being an overseas sensation and a 100 million domestically isn't going to happen in the theaters. They going to need Netflix or Amazon, or something, to make this work.
I just don't see this film making money.
