After a brutal two rounds that punishes Sonny and Mike totally sweeps people are beginning to wonder how long it will go.

In the third finally Sonny gets that poleaxe of a jab going and begins to bust up a tiring Tyson who has thrown all he can at the Ugly Bear.

The fourth to sixth signal the end.as Tyson throws the kitchen sink at Sonny who backs off waiting for Mike's fire to be extingished.

Tyson is totally exhausted, ripe for the taking - and the human monster obliges. Brutal hooks uppercuts and bodyshots leave Mike on the floor.

He fails to beat the count.

Probably a system glitch. I'm unsure if you're a new user or just have a new account bro, so, please don't take this as condescending.

Just before the old owners sold BoxingScene to ProBox TV they "updated" the forum. It's been super glitchy ever since. If you did immediately try to edit a few times and it gave errors, just give it a few minutes. There's a countdown clock on every post that times the "edited by X at Y time" line. If you post and notice something quickly and edit it immediately it will not tag the post as edited, but if you wait a few minutes, come back and see an error then hit edit, it will tag the post as edited. So, there is def a cooldown clock and I think it's effed you.

ProBox TV has made some changes but nothing really to the core functions or the frequency in which they show bugs. It's been more like experimenting with AI, changing writing staff, stuff like that.

- - Ben knows. 21 years old having united all the belts including The Ring and already the top money earner in the entire history of boxing. Liston had talent and excellent physical attributes, but he never had the genius of Cus for his trainer.

I like it! At the end of the day Tyson and Liston were both underestimated intellectually regarding their understanding of their craft. Liston was illiterate but very keen, and Mike was a research junkie regarding film and boxing in general. So while we might characterize Tunney versus Dempsey as a "chess match" of sorts, in reality? If Liston and Tyson met two of the better boxing minds would also be meeting...

Liston had more reserves psychologically than Mike... Mike could be broken in the ring, and imo that is what makes the difference here. Some will argue Liston was "broken" by Ali, but Liston was much older than people even can verify. Tyson for all his problems still had some reserves of youth, when he fell off after prison.
