    Joe Louis
    Joe Frazier

    Ocar DeLaHoya

    Who else?

Joe Jeannette - Has a draw and win with Jack Johnson in his first 15 fights, although by DQ he still won and his 16th fight was against Sam Langford which he won via TKO.

Something of interest, I looked up Sam McVea and his record on Boxrec it says Joe Jeanette 6-3-3 but on Joe's record Sam's name doesn't show up untill after 25 or so fights, doesn't make any sense :/. Either way Jeanette had a great first 16 fights with 2 wins over ATGs (and maybe 1 hof).

Jim Jeffries had drawn with Joe Choynski and beaten Peter Jackson, Gus Ruhlin, Tom Sharkey, Bob Fitzsimmons and Jim Corbett by his 15th fight. Pretty impressive.

                Evander Holyfield
                Michael Spinks

Dwight Muhammad Qawi comes really close. Mike Rossman in his 16th pro fight, James Scott in the next, Matthew Saad Muhammad for the title right after that.

Montell Griffin's first victory over Toney is the most impressive boxing display i've seen for a novice with that type of record.

I always thought Griffin looked very awkward and amateurish in this fight with Toney underestimating him. That of course is irrelevant since he proved he could hang with Toney the second time around as well.
