Can't make an accurate style analysis with no footage available of him in a fight, all we know about him is that he threw a lot of punches, had good footwork and a good chin.
We can't really tell his strengths or weaknesses and a lot of the information on him changes from different sources.

That's not enough information to match him up in fantasy fights.

Greb would most likely lose to all them

Going simply on opponents he beat and style, the guys he would have the best chance against would be Baer and Marciano. Greb is the only fighter to have beated Tunney although Tunney would avenge that loss, and he dominated Dempsey in sparring sessions and beat known boxers as Tommy Loughran. In all, Greb beat 13 future hall of famers which is more than any other fighter in history.

lol nobody's even seen footage of Greb fighting and you wanna know if people think he could beat some of the best heavyweights of all-time?

            Ridiculous question.

After you've studied his resume and met people who watched him live, you only have to observe the anvil that's attached to man's shoulders in order to get a perspective of what Harry Greb was like as a fighter.

He was far too small to stand a chance against any of the t s's propersitions, but i wouldn't put it past him to last the dc against any of them.

Rating his greatness based on his resume is understandable, but resumes and words of others don't show you how someone fought in the ring.

Well there's no film of the Battle of Trafalgar either.

                    Completely irrelevant.

We're not talking about whether or not an event happened. We're talking about how a fighter would match-up against other fighters. Visual evidence is needed for this.
