What if? Race as an issue

I dont get this Barn...Ali is top 2 anyways...and if he is 2 instead of 1 it is beacuse another Black (Louis ) is at top.

You will agree that Louis can be #1, or a case can be made of him..So I don't think race is an issue here.

there's no rule to say the no 1 has to be any colour in particular. And I just don't believe in a no 1, or a number 43, not in boxing anyway. The colour bar really is the reserve of the HW's back then, but for some reason the HW title was a no, no...... I once mentioned a couple of white fighters who I thought had a good case at GOAT,,... I don't get whther you are agreeing with me or not..

All I am saying is that Ali is now universally accepted as the best or second best. I don't think rasicm has hurt his reputation.

Sachin, Bradman and lara were great batsmen...(in case of Sachin still is).

Sobers was a great batsman, good bowler and a good fielder.Since a cricketer can be either of the three, and this guy excelled in all, I think he has a case to be called th greatest.
