maybe the best offensive fighter of all time. dude had weaponry
IE the most dangerous man who ever lived (considering he's a HW)
something to think about.
i'm glad he was such a teddy bear outside of the ring, otherwise he'd give a man nightmares.

The best heavyweight of all time.
compared to a bonehead like say kelly pavlik he's a saint, especially early in his career.
he gets credit for a lot of good work, both deliberate and otherwise.
he's the first black athlete that america truly supported.
after you take a boatload of punches to the head and get knocked out a couple times over the course of a long pro career your mind has a tendency to run all over the place and play tricks on you.
most of your favorite fighters you'll find to be bitter and even a bit paranoid by the time they reach old age.
get back at me when you give your historic great talent to boxing and it leaves you penniless and broken down
id be bitter too.
he was more than a "decent" human being
to me being only "decent" has slightly negative connotations
it leaves something to be desired of a person. maybe that's just my take on it.
the point was that he's maybe the most dangerous man to ever live and his temperament was very much contrary to what the layman might assume a man with that distinction might possessLast edited by New England; 09-21-2011, 07:42 AM.

May be decent was the wrong word, but in my defence I intended to use it in the best way possible ha ha
