You can't even formulate a cogent post, let alone find a meaningful place in this discussion, do you really think Billeau wants you defending him?

Do you really think he was asking me not to pick on you because he respects you as a man ?Or do you realize that he sees how vulnerable you are and that I have a bad habit at going a little too hard at my targets- who, unlike you, are adults and can handle it?

Sure, your mom thinks you're cool. The Special Needs teachers at your school say how precious you are. The manager at the Chucky Cheese where you've had your last 25 birthdays always gives you a high five. I bet you've had your picture taken with Firefighters, politicians, and members of pro-sports teams. Probably you sing great Christmas carols every year at the local Nursing Home. But here you're just a kid with Asperger's who spazzs out and its funny. No hope of ever being taken seriously.
Ummm excuse me ahem! That is not my motive Rusty and you know that.

I defend you sometimes also...Queeny as well. I don't think anyone I defend is pathetic. Its an age old family trait I have instilled in my boys. You speak up for what is right and accept the condemnation if you have to do so.

My mother is 80 and sharp... She was catcalled by construction workers, etc when going to protest the war with me on her back. There is a whole generation of people in the cities like my mother Rusty...and not one of them...NOT a ONE!! can look at something done by Donald Trump and admit "wow that was a good thing to do." Despite the fact that Trump has opened the door for discussion with North Korea, and pulled us out of many conflicts, created jobs... And don't misunderstand my point here.

They don't have to say he is a good president, or a nice guy... But not one of these people who fought the good fight can speak up and admit some things done were probably better than having Killery in the White House. Not one of these people would ask about Fienstein's insider trading (Comey threw Martha Stewart in the can for this) or Pelosi's stall... but would instead blame Trump for everything.

Why is that? It is because many of them are afraid that their fellow progressives would castigate them. That is what I think... So to me people should speak up and not worry so much about whom they might insult. Otherwise we become brain washed, and i'm not above saying as much as I love my mother, she is brain washed this way.

Well, how about Japanese, is that any more difficult? If anything, going the should EXTEND your life.
I know a little Japanese from the Martial Arts and school... You know what makes Japanese so hard? It is an honorific language and it is really easy to insult people. Chinese is much easier to speak, even the tones are not really that bad. Chinese has the same level of honorifics as English, so I cannot really make a fool of myself. I may say this is my friend Rusty in Chinese and it is straight forward. In japanese? Imagine introducing a friend to the head of a tech company you want to invest in your product and saying "this schmuk is the head of the company. Lol.

Japanese also has reverse grammer to ours lol. But Ive heard (don't know this) that Russian is even harder! I had guys I trained Martial Arts in special forces that were doing Russian Language in the Army school Monteray. Rough language to learn. These poor guys the only way they could party was to do acid because it was undetectable for the drug test. lol. Good times though.

That's pretty crazy. I guess we're spoiled being exposed to languages like Spanish and French. You never really have to think about little more than the vocabulary and grammar. Having to put honorifics on top of it takes it to a whole new level. Trying to say something correctly is tough enough ( I can't remember doing much speaking in High School Spanish). Sure, you might be able to say it right, but did you really say it right.

My dad had to learn vietnamese. But my nephew never got to pick up any of the language while serving in Iraq.i guess they didn't need to teach it.

To many who have to learn English it is confusing because it has so many contradictions in the grammer, as compared to the Romance languages per se. One great thing about Mandarin is you can speak to most educated Asians across South East Asia... Many learn Chinese as a third language...

And then there is my friend who would help me with my Chinese. Ju he was from Malaysia...This kid (he was in his twenties at the time I was in my thirties) grew up in a village in Malaysia, we worked together in a Vietnamese restaurant...This kid spoke about 8 languages!!! Even the most illiterate Puerto Rican in my old hood was bilingual. I would teach Ju martial arts and he would tutor me in Chinese. Meanwhile i could speak Chinese to the kitchen staff. So I really got on the cusp of fluency. My older son does the same thing with Spanish and can speak it fluently. I can speak some bad spanish what we called Spanglish lol.
