    Always in our hearts for knocking Charr out cold. And something tells me that he's not going to come back (Briedis, not Charr...)

      He retired from boxing the day he posted on social media a picture of himself with a tattoo begging for a Jake Paul fight.

      No one can recover from that.

              A great fighter from Latvia. He tested Opetiaia"s jaw well, twice Some people actually felt like he beat Usyk.

              He will be missed. Enjoy retirenent, champ.

                This. The CW division was a blast for a few years. Truly deep in talent, but very underappreciated because of the European talent not drawing in very many eyeballs. But, man there were wars... and Briedis was one of the best.

                Borderline Hall of Fame career. In a lighter year with fewer names, he probably gets in.

                    Good on him, walking away after those Opetaia fights is a good way to hang it up. If my last memory of him in a boxing ring is those fights, he's done incredibly well for himself.
