Ezra Taylor believes that the time for learning is almost over. The unbeaten light heavyweight has set his sights on becoming British champion as quickly as possible. Taylor, 9-0 (6 KOs), had a brief amateur career and didn't turn professional until he was 26 but has moved quickly. He made his mark with an impressive stoppage of Joel McIntyre last September and, on Saturday, the 30-year-old makes his third appearance of 2024 against Latvia's Kristaps Bulmeistars.

I was at ringside for Ezra's last contest and he didn't look great , frustrated even, but I think there's much more to show from this exciting heavy handed late starter..There's parallels with Yarde and he doesn't do bad! Expect Ezra to be in some really exciting tear ups in 2025 .

The Cannon will be alright as long as he stays in the gym and stays focused on his craft. One thing I have noticed about Ezra is that he is NOT AFRAID to put in the required work to be a world champion. We will have to wait and see, but I think he can become a world champion at 175lbs.
