Any glove questions? I have 10 differant pairs!

I have been in and out of boxing gyms since I was like 6, Im 19 now and since to me boxing comes before everything else especially with spending money, I have accumulated 10 differant pairs of gloves over the years.

I own all of the following, plus two I couldnt find pics of, old contender bag glovess, and old RIngside mexican style sparring glove.

i have the ringside international training gloves. to me, it's hard to make a fist in them, and the gloves feel the heaviest of all my other 16oz gloves (title platinum, ringside imf tech).

whats your opinion on the international gloves?

oh, do you have the everlast pro training gloves or everlast pro bag gloves?

I agree, they seem real slow and heavy. Just real akward and square, not very form fitting to the fist. Ive thought to myself that it feels like having a big heavy cereal box on your hands. They feel heavier than my 18oz Title training gloves.

I have the pro bag gloves.

I saw your posts about the Reyes gloves and it prompted me to ask about it at the gym. Funny thing came up.. our gym is sponsored somehow by Reyes. Everything we use (almost atleast) is made by Reyes haha.. anyway, to my question. Everyone in my gym (which happens to be 95% Mexican) uses Reyes to spar, uses Reyes headgear, and Reyes foul protectors. Do you think this is a good idea to spar with considering you could potentially hurt eachother in a serious way? Doesn't seem worth the risk to me.. but maybe they are just getting used to getting hit with bricks so when it comes match time the gloves don't seem to matter? .. Maybe that wasn't a question, who knows. Haha.. either way - I had no idea that Reyes were hard until the discussion was brought up about them.

u got small hands with good power? Usually i dont ever see that... This one dude at my gym in his 20's has a huge upper body but his hands are tiny and his legs are small so i hit harder than him even as a weaker 17 year old

its the same for me, i don't have big hands and i'm pretty short but i'm built pretty thick(alot of muscle but some fat to) and i am told that i hit harder then alot of people bigger than me

What are the best gloves for hitting the bag and sparring? I'm looking for two kinds not one glove that does both.

sparring = title platinum training gloves

bag = ringside imf tech bag gloves

i know someone who uses 2 pairs of the same gloves, one pair for the heavybag, one pair for sparring. everlast pro training gloves in 16oz.

sounds like a good idea, using the same size/brand/style of glove on the bag, and another pair of the same glove for sparring, so the guy would be used to that specific glove/weight because of the bag work.
