    Muscle Exhaustion/Fatigure

    This might be the wrong forum to post my problem but i cant really find any other place where i can get some specific help.. So here goes nothing..

    Around 2-3 weeks ago i decided to start boxing since i have too much free time on my hands and i thought it might be an interesting sport so i started to do some all around training, pushups, lifting weights, exercise bike, bagwork etc.. And now im going to try out an boxing gym that seems to be very nice and close by to my home.. But heres the thing, around one and a half week ago i started to get REALLY exhausted and overall weak in all my muscles, i thought it was some kind of overwork so i decided to give it a rest for a few days.. 5 days passed and i tried to exercise a bit, but no change.. another 4 days and still no changes, 3 another days and still no noticeable difference, half a week later (now) some very very minor changes, i can lift weights and do pushups/situps but with great effort required, 2x-3x as hard as before + feeling like the muscles are half awsleep.. I've read on the net that overwork should go over with 2-3 days rest, some cases maybe a week. But i seriously dont think this can be normal since its been lasting such a long while with only some very minor changes...

    So my questions from all this is:

    Do i have some kind of muscle disease?

    Might i simply be a wussy cause i've gotten some more muscles than before?

    Is there anything special i should be eating during rest-periods? ( This case overwork resting )

    Are there any other exercises i should be doing expect some light stretching or shouldn't i do anything at all?

    Greatful for responds and sorry for my poor english, its 06:20 AM..

        i really dont know, but maybe a massage and very light swimming on a pool may be able to relax the stress on your muscles.
        but going to a doctor maybe is the best option here, just to make sure its nothing serious and that a specialist gives you the best advice.
        good luck

          try some creatine ethyl ester pills, creatine really gives you that extra push and will to go on and I don't mean mentally, I mean muscle wise to train and improve strength and conditioning. I am going to order from either dps or amazon next week.

              oh yea, you are a bit young for supplements. If you feel it is something seriously wrong with your health then yeah definitely get a check up or better yet a blood test done.

                  What are you eating during the day. Are you getting enough energy into your system?

                    THIS HAS HAPPENED TO ME BEFORE.

                    #1. Go see a Dr. just to be sure it isn't something, just to be sure. probly isn't but just to be dure.

                    I bet these are your symptoms.....

                    * Pain in muscles & joints
                    * Washed-out feeling, tired, drained, lack of energy, fatigue
                    * Headaches
                    * Inability to relax, twitchy, fidgety
                    * Unquenchable thirst, dehydration
                    * Lowered resistance to common illnesses; colds, sore throat, etc.
                    * Moody, irritable
                    * Altered sleep patterns
                    * Depression
                    * Loss of competitive desire
                    * Decreased appetite
                    * Weight loss
                    * Persistent muscle soreness
                    * Increased occurrence of injuries

                    You overtrained and have depleted yourself badly. I did this to myself once badly.... I was drained and sleepless for 2 weeks and the grand finale was a bad cold, and soar throat and some weight loss. Depending on your overtraining it will not recover in 2-5 days. It will take over 10 days if you jumped right in from being fairly sedentary.

                    Importantly.... SLEEP. Assure yourself 8-10 hours of sleep until it is over. Do not do any stressful workouts, some light jogging maybe. Be keen on your diet.... ADD ALOT MORE VEGGIES AND PROTEIN. And take a multi and extra VIT C.

                    Not just your muscles are overstessed but also your heart, pituitary, and heart.

                    Sleep and Eat.
