Most of the time, both fighters agree on what to wear. So if you dont like that he has 10s and you have 14s. Then go to 10s and make him pay.
lol, andalusian is only a beginer dood!!! lol Even in amateurs we wear 12os. Hey anda don't listen to this nuts they only wanna get u hurt lol don't sparr with those smaller gloves and use 14+ if u sparr unless u wanna break your nose. Reserve all that warrior tough **** we u in a real fight already

anway trainer vs. student can be controlled but sometimes student vs, student can get real messy and bloody and u dont want a 10oz on that hitting your face.

with 10 oz gloves, probably. you have a way higher chance to get injured getting hit by 10 oz gloves then with 16s, their is a big difference. Just do yourself a favor and only spar people who are using 16s.

I thought the only advantage of wearing a 10 gloves is their speed. now I know it will hit me hard too?

you are going to get rocked with those 10oz, at my gym we don't even spar with 12s, I don' t know what kind of experience your trainer has... usually its 14oz-16oz for sparring sessions to prevent cuts and common injuries such as those that occur with 10-12oz gloves.

You should be glad to have the odds stacked against you and more importantly your hands will be better protected. A bad craftsman always blames his tools so don't worry about it and don't let it bother you or you will become that bad craftsman! As long as he doesn't have plaster in his gloves or all the foam taken out, you will be fine! After all, it is a friendly spar
