    Should I buy a treadmill?

There is one I saw recently for $298.00

My lil brother told me not to get it that its a waste of money becuz we have a track near our house. Now i just wanted to get it because i generally dont like running on tracks around people. Just in the privacy of my home ect.

you must not be serious about boxing, so therefore buy it.

The only way I recommend it is if you live in a place with blizzard like conditions a big part of the year. If not track> treadmill.

What's with the *******ry?... It's just a convenience, anyway running (long distance) is for weightloss so get a treadmill if you can afford it.
Also don't get a cheapie there worse for you than you would expect.

For boxing stamina, I think its better to run outdoors on a track or sidewalk wherever, running on the treadmill youre stationary and forced to move or you will fall, on a track you move on your own, and it takes WILL not to stop moving, but to keep pushing yourself at that constant pace.... If you get what I am trying to say... However, a treadmill necessarily isnt that bad, like someone else posted for losing weight, and not bad when you use it but run outside as well...

Running on the roads is harder but it's also harder on the joints.

Whatever you do, DON'T run on the sidewalk. That would be horrible for your joints. knees's etc.

Well if there's no track available for him to run on, then the sidewalk/pavement would be more beneficial than a treadmill in my opinion.. Regardless of joint stress/pain... If you say you disagree than your lieng...
