Most important muscle in a boxers body?

Depends on your body type to be honest. Do you got long arms, short arms, are you tall, short? Thick frame, thin? Everyone is different the the way you transfer your power will vary depending on your body type. Also a general idea like someone said is legs. You want to have horse legs so you can keep going for 12 rounds. Once your solid on your endurance and stamina, then work on areas that can improve your power. An example in my case is that I'm tall with long arms so I'd focus on power that works at the end of my shots. I focus on my back and tri's to deliver my power. Am very similar to Arthur Abraham in that we got a big back, skinny legs, and a larger upperbody. It's not that I don't work out my legs, it's just the way I was built, no matter how much leg workouts I do.

Legs are important but shoulders are the most important muscle to a boxer. They are what allow you to keep your hands up and if you can't keep your hands up to block punches, your legs are going to be gone regardless if they're strong or not because your going to be getting hit.
Look at oscar delahoya in the first mosley fight. The guy has monsterous (word?) shoulders, and sticks for legs. Strong shoulders also help you develop more power in your shots because you have that little extra at the end of your shot. For a demonstration watch mayweathers straight right hand (3x) that puts down phillip ndou in I believe the 7th round. You can see him putting his shoulder completely into the shot.

in case nobody has figured it out you end up using pretty much every muscle you have in boxing. take one away and you can't fight. they're all important.
