    Protein?

Protein is one of them topics that goes on a bit and can get a tad confusing. Is it worth buying protein shakes for boxing or not?

I do a few weights when I’m not training also so I don’t know if it is worth getting some shakes for boxing/ a bit of weight lifting or not?

whenever you break the muscles down you need to repair them and protein shakes always helps get there quickly and its a lot easier to chugg down 50g of protein with water then it is eating 2 chicken breasts after a heavy session.

True, it does help but your body isn't gonna absorb 50 grams of protein in one serving. That's there way of making money off you.

Protein shakes can help but don't rely on it as a main source. You always want protein even if you're trying to lose weight. Try to get it in with your meals. Eat 6 small meals a day with protein in each meal. Shakes can help for snacks or post work out. Eat good and exercise good are the main things.

Whatever it is you're trying to do it can be done without protein shakes. People been getting into shape since way way way back in the days before all these supplements.

Depends on your current diet really.. if your getting lots of protein from your normal meals its not needed. If your like me and find yourself strapped for time and cash go the protein shake route.

I really noticed a difference when working out also creatine helped alot.. like i said depends on your current diet.

30 grams of protein is the most a human body can absorb at one time, and stay away from supplements they are mostly fillers. you get a little creatine and alot of useless powder, all supplements are a scam it's better to eat properly.
