The good:
Cutting off the ring well
Chin down
Throwing combinations (get in some uppercuts too)
Your hands are up when he is punching
Needs work:
Jab more
Don't drop your left before or after punch
Hook is a little wide
Feet are somewhat wide apart and flat-footed. Get on the balls of your feet more and after throwing a combination move to the side, not straight back. Get off the ropes when opponent is unloading unless you are setting a trap to counter him.
How long have you been sparring?

I've never boxed a day in my life nor have I ever seen a real live gym before.
However, you did a good job against an inexperienced cat. On the inside you will be warned, in the future amateur experiences that you may have, about pushing and ramming your opponent with your shoulder. Those are professional moves but not allowed in the amateurs.
Best keep that left away from your nutz and keep it near your head. I would have been dropping right hands over your low left all day long if I had ever boxed before.
Honestly your opponent knew little about boxing. You should have used the ring and your jab to control him instead of just looking to land bombs on him. With experience you could have controlled him with your jab to set him up for your bombs.
Also, why fight him on the inside when you're so much taller, you just made it easier for your opponent. Keep your distance, use your feet and jabs to control him and then drop some bombs.
Do they have restrooms in real live gyms?.......Rockin'Last edited by Rockin'; 08-15-2018, 05:30 PM.

Stepping onto your heels alot on your front foot especially. It's ok to plant your feet (generates more power) but when stepping try land with balls of your feet first.
Front hand way down, would get you hurt against a guy with more experience than the dude you were sparring.
You have some ability but were generally quite sloppy and looked tired. Start running 3-4 times a week. 3 runs of about 4 miles at a good pace with some sprints mixed in.
And 1 HIIT session mimicking a fight so eg: 4x800m sprints
