      C. From the same sources we know he threw punches in windmill fashion (see Aaron Pryor for an example).

So people have said he was a volume puncher. Great. Now tell me how that detail would show you how he does in every fight when you haven't even seen him fight.

Have you personally seen every Aaron Pryor fight? No? Can you show me how that detail plays out in every one of his fights?

I've seen plenty of Pryor fights and I could tell just by watching it how he would do against other fighters. I wouldn't have been able to do so if all I knew about him was that he was a volume puncher.

i've got a a book on boxing from the 1970's and it has a chapter on harry greb, with comments from a few people still alive who saw him fight. the book says he was a swarmer, " the human windmill ", as much as i like greb he loses to all the hw's on the list. he beat tunney because tunney was a pure boxer and the style of greb is bad for tunney. marciano and louis would plain **** greb up, and baer would only have to stand and trade with greb to knock him out, the size and power difference is to big. i don't think greb has enough power to make an elite hw respect him, he maybe has the best chance at a win against johnson because he's a pure boxer like tunney with only average power, but even then i think jack is too big and strong for him. a prime greb fighting opponents 160 -170 lbs , i think has a chance at beating almost anyone

Tunney lost the first fight because he was foolish to go headhunting and fought differently in the next fights. Benny Leonard the fellow New Yorker boxer advised Tunney "go for his body next time instead of the head", and TUnney would win the next two fights against Greb, and he also had two ND's that most thought he won.

We only have trainning footage available for greb. But he was not easy to hit, and he dominated Jack Dempsey a natural heavyweight in sparring sessions. Dempsey took those sessions serious and made comments that he never wanted to fight Dempsey again in sparring.

I think he has a chance against Baer who lost to the smaller Louis, and a outside chance against guys like Louis and Marciano. Most people rate Greb a top 10 P4P guy, he beat guys with one eye, imagine if he fought those HW's with both eyes?

When you ask a nonsensical question you shouldn't be surprised to have it turned around on you.....now unless you've seen ALL of Pryor's fights than all you've done is dodged your own question.

Back on point, I would point out that I knew exactly how Joe Louis fought in his biggest fights long before I EVER saw him on film. All the fight footage did was confirm what I already knew because I had already read in-depth accounts of those fights.

Damn, I was so sure that somebody would claim that Greb would have beaten both Klitschko brothers.

Gee you know, I think Greb struggles with most of them, and I don't know enough about Harry Wills or his size. I honestly think that Harry Greb would never last long as a heavyweight, it's one thing surviving the punchers from the MW's and LHW's...... the HW division is a TOTAL DIFFERENT STORY....... I see Joe Louis absolutely ripping Grebs head clean off......... and Marciano is an even harder puncher. In a one off HW fight it may be that Greb outscores Baer. As for Jack Johnson, I don't think Tunney beats Jack in their primes, and a prime Tunney was too good and big for Harry...... I think Johnson beats Greb like he always did to much smaller opponents,..... Johnson destroyed MW's and LHW's....... FACT....... Greb should be compared to MW's anyway.
