Chris Byrd: he deserves a shot at Lennox Lewis

forget chris byrd.....ike ibuchi beat david tua and chris byrd when they were undefeated.....lennox lewis had to wait till tua lost and michael grant almost died vs golota in order to fight them....he also fought botha the biggest joke to get a title shot....

Ibeabuchi wasn't available to fight Lennox Lewis for obvious reasons. Tua only lost one close decision three years before he fought Lewis. What about that can't you understand?

Lennox had no respect for Chris Byrd whatsoever.
When someone would bring up Chris's name, Lennox would respond:
"Why would a Lion fight a Bird?"

It was complete arrogance on Lennox's part,not fear....plus the Wlad and Ike losses didnt help Byrd's chances either.

he wasnt arrogant enough to duck botha.....botha just looked like a joke....lewis also has cowardly wins vs akiwande & mccall....he shouldve knocked em both the **** out like he did to golota n grant but let the ref mercy stop it.....emanuel steward himself says lennox is passive by nature thats why he didnt dominate his great opponents like a so called elite fighter should....

Byrd was deadlocked in a Klitschko contract for all of 2000 so it was impossible for him to fight anyone else that year, let alone Lennox.

As for Mccall and Akinwande, they both were trying to get disqualified because they knew they had no chance at beating a focused Lennox. No one can.
