Many words have changed in context/meaning quite recently. I'm sure a teenager from Poland like you is an expert.

This seems to suggest that it started becoming a thing in the late 60s/early 70s in rock culture.

Anyway, Hamza said it's just a story he heard and admits it may be made up. Lets see proof of Griffith making that statement.

Definitely was a used term my man, trust me We used to use it pretending we were mobsters.

Anyway, it may well be an old boxing folk tale yes. But it's an interesting one if true.

Nobody cares about the main point of your thread.

Knowing this tragic story and then hearing about those punks who beat him near to death, I contacted Mr. Griffith to see how he was doing. One of the nicest and humblest men I have ever communicated with.

This is quite a well known stroy in boxing and has been forever.

Emile was gay, Paret called him out on it and got his ass beat.

I've always felt the biggest issue has been the referee and whether or not he was blind. He can see Paret taking shots and being out on his feet and takes a long time intervening and still lets punches rain in. It was horrible.
