Look, everybody. Mike has found a wonderful human being who is a boxing promoter as well. At least that is what he says. Let's all make a pact to take Mike's word on that, shall we, since he doesn't have any evidence?

Oh wait, here he comes now with--evidence? Why, it is a testimony from the Madison Square Garden people themselves that Bob used to work for. What ulterior motives could they have? Well, even if ol' Bob was a scumbag, they wouldn't go around advertising it, now would they? Let's make another assumption with ol' Mike that these witnesses are honest and sincere, shall we?

I repeat: All promoters wear the hand-me-down weasel suits of former promoters. That is how you even become a boxing promoter, not through prayer breakfasts.

        TOL,

Here are two (2) articles about Bobby Goodman, a fellow Bronx boy like myself
Please note that end of the 2nd article there are a series of tributes to Mr. G:

        Regards,

        Mike

Gee, MIke, that is extra hard to come up with newspaper tributes to dead men. You did exactly what I said you would do. They are called obituaries ordinarily.

Don Elbaum was an extremely active promoter and matchmaker for many many years. I worked on Don's shows at the Tropicana in the early stages of espn boxing.
Had a few ups and downs with him but that happens with all promoters. He was very successful, when do you find a promoter that will put the gloves on when the stand by guys don't show up???? He actually did that in the mid sixties.

Was around long before Arum and actually got King's started in promotion.

De La Hoya is the new Don King but he is so transparent it's SO EASY to see what a lying little phony he is. He is such a fraud and really I just hope he dies of AIDS or one of his children gets hit by a car and dies or something, very soon. Just a de****able human being, worse than Don King ever was. I wish I could meet him in person so I could rock him in his face and stab his brain with his nose bone.

Considering your rhetoric it comes as no surprise that you have a Tyson pic as your avatar.

Right, and I assume you're from somewhere either outside of the US or outside of the Northeast US, which makes your far inferior to me intellectually, just based on common sense.
