    110! Wow you must be so powerful... Nice try. That's a 60 lb bag. You're not fooling anyone. Unless you have someone holding the bag, you should be hitting one that's around 2/3 your weight or more. Now the shirt being from the Salvation Army, I can believe.

      heavier bag whould be good you should feel ur punch in ur forearm and shulder when u make contact thats how u get stronger and ur footwork is pretty bad stop crosing ur feet other than that was ok for not being in a gym.

        but you look like a overweight lumberjack and cant box for ****. It makes me wonder how many others like you out there dishing out advice but can�t box.
        Besides all that, boxing is about distance and timing, a centimetre or two can make all the difference. Thats why ya need to be able to punch at full extension, not these meathead punches with your arms not extending enough. Do some sparring and find out. Stand back and try to hit the bag at the furthest distance you can without losing balance, work or technique and speed not power.

              weather or not you belive its 110 thats fine. thank you for the answer so about 140 would be best for me if not more. I can make a vid where i take the bag off the hook and put it on a scale but i really have no need to prove anything to you unless you really want me to. and are you actually say that if it really is 110 than i am some what powerful or was that sarcastic either way i look at it?

              Yeah i gave him some training advice yes, what do you disagree with it. I try not to give boxing advice and stick with more so exercise advice. and i am alittle over weight and as well i enjoy the lumberjack persona. Im at 20-23% bf i just did the scranton marathon and it took me 5hr and 15 mins i mean thats horriable there was only like 150 people slower then me out of the 2.5k that ran.

              I would probably stretch for about 2 sets 30 seconds each the muscle being worked inbetween each set of benching, dips, bridges, and situps mainly the arms shoulders chest then back and abs. from jump rope to shadow dosnt really matter when you stretch.

              what kind of situps are you doing? I do these situps where i have my hands over my head and do a full sit up and try to touch my toes or not but just do the motion its good for your serratus anterior and intercostals that extra motion of moving your hands above your head to towards your toes. and try not to have your toes under anything but make sure your on a soft surface as to not hurt your back.

              maybe try some pull ups? wide grip close grip both are good but i would do more close grip more range of movement.

              you dont have to do any of this but i would recommend if anything the stretching between sets or some kind of modification of it. like 3 sets of 10 seconds or something for the muscle thats being worked in the exercise. if you start doing pull ups i would recommend the same stretching

              i feel it in my fore arm and right below my bicep in my elbow area. i have another pair of gloves that are just thin gloves like speed bag gloves that ill throw like 40 wind ups with each arm and my whole arm feels that shudder though the bag is pretty much solid sand so that might have something to do why i feel it so much with thinner gloves.

                your hands are getting better,dont slouch to much it slows you down,also try slipping to the right a little more,if you shadow box in front of a mirror you will see what you are doing and you will be able to make adjustments,

                    you are getting better. so you are on the right track. try not to fling your elbow into your straight (just extend straight and use your hips and shoulder)..remember to jerk your hips into your hooks as well.

                      i seen great fighters in their days... and they cant coach for nothing... and i also seen some very shi*ty fighters that were a success at coaching... kinda like if i were to video tape myself on the heavybag i would be quick to notice my mistakes... but it would taker longer for me to fix it and get it right u know?? you r right though... this guy isnt the greatest on the bag but his advice and oponions are ahead of that... no disrespect to the both of yous
