Holmes has balls and a fierce pride about him. He would have hurt Berbick bad in a real street fight because he was more commited to it than Berbick was. Berbick was a real tough man, but he did not have the same intensity that Holmes had. Holmes also had more belief in himself than Berbick had in himself.
