I don't think these two fighters have textbook technique, when I saw he used miguel cotto and joe louis as the example the only similarite between them is they move kind of robotic-like and throw short but noticble punches, if anything I feel cotto has simplified technique. while louis of course has better technique. when I hear textbook technique I think of people like Mike mccallum and Don curry

He lost because he was on back foot too much andd fought the wrong fight, not because of his actual punch techniques. They got him through the first 5-6 rounds quite well but i still would not say he is proper textbook. B-Hop is fairly textbook in terms of technique. Barrera was also another very mechanically sound boxer when he was reincarnated as a stand back guy from the Naz fight onwards.
