Wasn't Papp a Hungarian fighter who retired undefeated, or was forced to retire?

As far as Flynn.....I had a feeling that was the answer, but Im still not sure it is right. Who sanctioned this fight and who did he fight to win this honor. Because he has never been a recognized heavweight champion.
