    Spinks-Haye

Been a lot of threads naming a past prime great moving up out of a weight class he's never fought in against some of the greatest heavyweights ever.

Hows about taking an all time great lightheavy in Spinks and putting him at cruiser against one of todays hottest commodities in David Haye? Who wins and how would it go?

I don't even think Haye will get that far with todays crop of heavyweights.

Spinks took the best blows of Gerry Cooney, and I do believe Cooney was a harder puncher than Haye. Remember Spinks saying whenever Gerry hit him on his arms (Spinks covered himself well) it was PURE PAIN.

So, we go to the boxing skills. And I believe Spinks possessed the better ones. How about a clear-cut decision win or late stoppage?

Spinks was a great LHW. Perhaps the best of the best LHW era in boxinghistory.

I really dont fancy Haye's chances here at all even if the fight was at cruiser- or heavyweight. I think Spinks would land the Spinksjinx and knock out Haye.
