Better WW fighter Ike Quartey or Joshua Clottey?

Here is a interview were he states Quartey as his Inspiration which may mean more than just a fav fighter. He dosen't mention Nelson.

Ike for sure, much more active that clotty, the only thing I see Ike is his defense was not as tight as clotty

Quartey is better than Clottey at this stage. Had a much longer career at the top and was given the shots he deserved unlike Clottey. Even at this stage I don't think Clottey can surpass Quartey as Clottey will fall on had times again for a while now. No one will want to fight him after beating up Cotto and it would surprise me if he gets another title shot again in the near future. Sad, and he thought Arum thought of them as equals. Poor bastard. Dodgy Arum.

It's very obvious that Clottey has based his style on Quartey though. When I first saw Clottey the first thing that popped into my head was "Holy ****e, that guy fights exactly like Quartey. They could be brothers!" I seriously thought they might be brothers until I heard Clottey's name.

Quartey was the better offensive fighter whereas Clottey is the better defensive fighter, Clottey also seems to have a better chin. Right now though, you'd have to go with Quartey because he proved himself against better competition than Clottey but Clottey still has time to surpass Ike.

Quartey; better speed, better timing, a far superior jab, and more proven against true top-class WW talent. Much more power, as well.

I would have favored Crisanto Espana over Clottey.
