He was a big, strong fighter who could box. He outboxed Weaver before getting knocked out cold with that miracle punch. He also beat Coetzee by decision if I remember correctly. Decent contender and champion. Coulda been even better perhaps. Shouldn't lost to Berbick.

He was never the same after the Weaver fight and died tragically very young. Had a lot of Buster Douglas in him in that he ate himself out of boxing
