EXCITING! (Not necessarily great, right? Although I thought they all were both exciting and great.)
Fights I saw live (on TV) only; No Dempsey-Firpo included.
Not in any particular order.
Little Red Lopez vs Mike Ayala (Some of the greatest exchanges the game ever saw.)
Douglas vs Iron Mike (Unbelievable even though we were watching it happen.)
Holyfield vs Tyson I (A true tough guy brawl.)
Hagler vs Hearns (Enough has already been said about it.)
Benvenuti vs Monzon I (Nino gave a better showing than most remember.)
Arguello vs Pryor I (Every round felt like is was about to be the last until it was.)
Camacho vs Rosario (Classic ****er vs master boxer; too close to call; the fight in doubt all night. Wanted three more rounds.)
Foreman vs Lyle (Big men are not suspose to get up that many times.)
Duran vs Barkley (The romance of watching Duran's redemption.)
Boza-Edwards vs Chacon 1 & 2 (Not great technicians; not great ****ers. Just two great fighters. You're not suspose to see that many comebacks in one fight, twice.)
P.S. Wanted to fit in Leonard-Hearns at # 11 (On the edge of your seat all night.)
