Greb sufferred a rib injury at some point, and when he fought the 5th time all Tunney did was re ignite an old injury. But the description was Tunney was landing very hard body shots and had practiced it in camp
Both Tunney and Loughran said the key to any success against Greb was the body attack.

Can we have a verified source that shows Fleischer ever sold ratings,or is that just some random character assassination gratuitously thrown in for laughs and giggles?
I'm neither laughing or annoyed, I don't take you seriously.
Yeah, I regret asking you anything because you are exactly what you claim I am. You don't know **** but like to talk and act and cite like you do. Here you go an exposure now, because you are a ****. ****.

You want a source? CHECK THE BOOKS YOU YOURSELF HAVE CITED ON THIS FORUM LIKE AS IF YOU ACTUALLY READ THOSE BOOKS.

Any ******* who has, already knows what I was referring to, and anyone else reading this who hasn't, hasn't got the background information to entertain the conversation in the first place.

Want me to be specific? Oh GREAT KNOWER, Oh expert who can never be wrong or simply uninformed, you need me to tell you which book and where do you? HMMMMMMMMM. Maybe you should have just said you are unaware instead of being a **** with a self imposed pedestal up their ass? Seems like if I tell you about books you cite and talk about like as if they're important I might maybe actually KNOW TF I AM TALKING ABOUT unlike you.

Dumbass old ****er ain't never useful for a goddamn thing but shiffing her own farts. I wonder why is it you and Z butt so often That's sarcasm on your ****** ass, I ain't wonder a goddam thing.

The answer to the question "Why does Ivich respect Nat?" Is he wasn't informed enough to know he shouldn't.

I don't respect Fleischer, I just answered your question as to why I would give him more credence than Don King?
He had watched hundreds of fights from ringside over many decades. He was a licenced judge and referee and had acted in that capacity at fights, including world title ones.

King in contrast was a promoter and a 100% robbing arsehole with no practical experience of officiating or judging whatsoever.
My reply seems to me to be the most logical and reasonable answer that one can give to your question.
If you disagree please state your reasons?
I didn't ask you from which book you gleaned your information.I asked you for a verified source?
Since instead of providing one ,you went off on one of your famous histrionic tirades,I must conclude you don't have a source.
I don't claim you to be anything, accept some off the wall poster who wants to bore us all with stories about ancient boxers whom none of us have ever heard of and have no interest in being educated on.

I view you as probably on the spectrum, and bipolar, but harmless enough.

Your absurdly childish and over the top response to my question just indicates your total lack of self control and self awareness.

Take a chill pill Glaukos The Magnificent. you'll give yourself a heart attack!

As to which boxing books I have read and mentioned here, you are at liberty to ask me a question about any of them.ie ask me a question about what is on a designated page and I will do my best to reply.
You don't seriously believe I am so sad an individual as to feel the need to impress the likes of you do you? lol
        Enjoy your day!

You're going to talk to me about absurdisms and self-awareness are you? I've told you before I am cantankerous with you because it's the quickest and best way to get the most information out of you.

          This a case in point?

How you're constantly at odds with other posters in this section a case in point?

          Hmmm.

Seems like one of us has a motivation and the other is just a personality trait.

Seems to me after a slap you have a LOT more to say. Seems to me I learned how to work that a long time ago. It seems to me I've already stated this multiple times on this forum and others. Seems to me I'm very aware of what I do and who I do it to. Seems that way. To me. all absurd childishness doe

Crazy how much more text gets a screen after I call you a ****** old ******. Maybe that's because you are a ****** old ******, ******?

When Titans collide! I have had it out a time or two with Ivich but never with Mr. Margarine.

I try to avoid passionate spats because I usually say things I wish I hadn't. As one of the most popular, well-respected and beloved posters on Boxing Scene, I grant these boys a license to say things they might regret for my entertainment.

He amused me with his ludicrously over the top response, but it's done and dusted now,no need for us to carry it on.

Greb didn’t get his **** because a middleweight beating the heavyweight champ doesn’t look good. They didn’t want a middleweight as champ. He fought and beat fierce middleweight competition and they still don’t want to recall him. Something is up w the fight game

i have this old boxing book, and in it I remember it listing all these fighters. And I realized he beat them all but they didn’t list him.

I wonder if people ever complained about his style. Nobody could deal with it and it lacked any real boxing fundamentals. But behind it all was a cunning well engineered attack. Maybe people looked at it like it was cheating. The book has no real mention of this that I can recall
