I want defend Queenie's argument on this point.

Regardless of named trainers or managers Eddie Futch had a relationship with both fighters and that is a logical enough reason as to why (maybe) the two fighters never met.

Much as Taylor and Whittaker never met but should have or Joe's Torres never got a shot at Patterson or all the Kronk fighters were kept apart as well.

Was it the reason, only maybe? But it is not an absurd argument to make; not a troll's remark.
