The last VCR was manufactured around six years ago. You have to buy used.

Turntables eventually went nostalgic and started reappearing. Maybe in a decade VCRs will become available again.

Ironic, I have well over 5000 vhs tapes with boxing on them. I converted most to dvd but grew tired of the task over the years. Now I have a room full of them and I am thinking lately about throwing them away.

I know the feeling very well. Sometimes I feel like I'd be happier if I had nothing at all. Accumulation, I have come to realize, is unbelievably distressing as one gets older.
