Oh yeah, and just to let this guy know, I would guarantee that Foreman has been on main****** TV and is a more well known face and name across the globe to your average joe, or middle-class housewife than Oscar is.

Maybe you're too young to remember the million and one commercials, infomercials, chat shows, cooking shows etc etc etc that he did. Nearly anyone over the age of fourteen, which is the reason you wouldn't know this, would have seen Foreman any number of times on TV doing his thing. He became the most recognisable boxer in the world by far, apart from Tyson, with his marketing campaign for his comeback. Damn, he was on Oprah! How many boxers you know that went on Oprah huh? How many millions of ladies etc around the world would know him through watching that but wouldn't know any other fighter huh?

Not only that but if you ask people who actually know something about boxing history what the most incredible feat by any boxer is ever, they will inevitably say, or at least 70-80% will, that it was George Foreman's comeback win after a ten year retirement for the heavyweight championship of the world over Moorer at the age of 45.

Here in England not a lot of people know who de la Hoya is, almost everybody has a George Foreman grill.

I will take it as far as to say that if you strip away the understory, that Michael Moorer was a smaller heavyweight with a questionable chin and heart and just look at the sheer accomplishment of George Foreman winning the legitimate heavyweight championship at his age knocking out a young legitimate champion, I don't think there is a bigger single accomplishment in all of sports.
