Patterson & Chuvalo Give Their Verdicts On A Marciano v Frazier Fight.

    The Ring December1990
    Chuvalo.
" The biggest difference would be size.
Frazier went up against bigger men,and the only one that hurt him was George Foreman.
And Foreman had 20 pounds on Joe,which would have been 40lbs on Marciano!
Because of that,I think that, that Frazier would be able to stand up under Rocky's punches.
As good as Rocky was,he never fought anyone who threw the volume of punches that Joe did.
As good as Rocky was, he never fought anyone who threw the volume of punches that Joe did,
Most guys who tried to slug with Frazier, didn't last 5 rounds.
But because Rocky was so tough,it would take Joe at least 12 rounds to stop him."

    Patterson,

"As far as avoiding punches, the fact that Frazier bobbed and weaved,a lot more than Marciano, would be in his favor.
Frazier's size and natural strength.would be to his advantage.
He out weighed Marciano by 25 pounds."

    Both picked Frazier.
