Pryor was better in the boxing department and could also fight inside, which Pac can't.

Pac has easily as many defensive flaws as Pryor, but Pryor could fight off the back foot when he wanted to very well and be highly effective doing it.

Pryor was a slow, wide puncher? ****, that's certainly news to me. Here I was thinking he was damn quick and threw sharp, straight accurate shots and the speed difference wouldn't present that much of a huge advantage/disadvantage for either guy. Which Pryor did you watch?

Pryor fought offensively a lot but it was by no means the only way he fought and his defense and technique was better than Pacquiao's in many ways.

Pacquiao has some technical flaws, but I feel like he makes up for them with awkwardness and athleticism. Pryor does the same thing, but he compensates with power and balls. Maybe I have to watch some more of him, but it looked like he threw a lot of looping haymakers which I think Pacquiao could slip quite well. It's an electric, exciting fight but I think that Pacquiao has the tools to beat Pryor convincingly. I will, however, concede that Pryor would **** Pacquiao up on the inside. Pacquiao is an awful inside fighter, all he does is clinch and try not to get hit.

Pryor was hardly an effective inside fighter. He was at his most effective on the outside,on his toes, creating angles and boxing.

Pryor was a pressure fighter, but not the traditional pressure fighter. He boxed and pressed rather than just pressed like your typical, talentless, grunting pressure fighter.

I'd throw him under the same category as a prime Evander Holyfield in that sense.

Pryor wasn't slow. His lead right was about as quick as you'll find and there was always a left to follow right after it.both he and Pacquiao throw in volume, but Pryor was alot sharper and more decisive with his blows than Pacquiao is.

As for who wins? Well,I don't really care,to be honest.I just felt like making a post.

I would take Pryor by decision (but it wouldn't be easy). One common misconception though is that Pryor was just a relentless brawler with a good chin. Pacquaio has the faster hands and foot speed, but when Aaron got on his toes and boxed, he had one of the better jabs when he use it (see him against Cervantes and Johnson) and was even more aggressive than Pacquaio and a much better inside fighter. I just see him as having too much options at the end of the day.

IMO he was very skilled inside. Did you see him against Cervantes or Arguello? After he was knocked down against Cervantes, he changed the angle he came inside, went to the body and came back up with short accurate hooks. That's inside fighting at its best.
