At 3:13 looks like the trainer is giving Norton smelling salts:

Do you think Norton was hurt by Ali's right hands?

That's very dangerous. It's good they banned it.

After the fight Norton said he was hurt by a right hand.

I just watched the fight, and Norton was intervieved in the ring.He was asked if he was ever hurt, and he said he was hurt by a right hand.

          Yeah, that explains it. Thanks.

BTW do you have a link to the post fight interview for both fighters?

If not where are you watching it from?

I have all of Muhammad Ali's fights starting early in his career.I have the fights in full(Showing all of the rounds).

I have no idea how to put the fights on a computer or links showing them or the interviews.Sorry.

BTW-It was like in the 8th or 9th round that Ali hurt Norton with a real good right hand.Norton stopped pressuring Ali as much as he was for about a round and a half after getting hurt. The announcer saw that Norton was hurt, and said he thought Ali was going to stop him.The other announcer agreed with him.

One interesting thing I noticed when re watching this fight with Howard Cosell doing the blow by blow, was that Ali cut Norton in the late rounds. And Norton rarely if ever was cut. Ali hit Norton a lot harder and consistently than I realized. The guys calling this version are horrible.

I know, I would prefer cosell's commentary because he knew Ali very well. I think this is the best shape I've seen Ali since the first Frazier fight. The fat from his belly had disappeared just like pre exile.

Yes,Muhammad Ali trained his azz off for this fight.

I think he danced more in this fight than any fight after his 3 1/2 lay-off.

After this fight Ali soon fought Frazier(2nd fight) and danced all 12 rounds. But he held and tied up Frazier alot more than he did Norton.
