it was not great at all,who is barkley,he is not an all time great,he was an average fighter that held is own,i had barkley winning the fight anyway by a commanding unanimous decision,i dont know what fight the judges were watching but barkley clearly dominated the fight from start to finish,

It was a great win for Duran considering how many years he was past his prime.That and it was for the "Middleweight" Championship.Duran had went up in weight to be world champion in 4 different divisions.It would have been 5 different weight divisions if he had wanted to win the 140lb World Championship.

Anyway, I think it's a very good win. Barkley was younger, bigger, stronger and had shown tremendous heart before and after that fight. Not an all time great win, but very very good one.

And De Jesus must have been pretty whacked out on smack to go ahead and drop Duran again in the 2nd fight. The man went on to win a world title after that.

just done some research de jesus was not haveing drug problems when he had the fights with duran my mistake they would come later in his life. But durans win over sugar ray was his best you ask any true duran fan and they will tel you that
