Yeah, I thought Gatti-Ward Round 9 immediately. Barrera-Morales Round 5 was epic, too. They had one amazing round in their third fight too. Actually, they had 36 amazing rounds in their fights, but you know, gotta pick one. And that one is Holyfield-Bowe I Round 10. Unbelievable action. That uppercut that Bowe landed would have floored a bull and then for Holyfield to battle back and make it close...

That's a strong group. The 10th round of Corrales-Castillo is unforgettable too.
A few of these are Cliche but
Marciano-Walcott I:round 13
Louis-Schmeling II:Round 1(hard to pick a round for this fight)
Robinson-Fullmer II: round 5
Hagler-Hearns: Round 1
Dempsey-Tunney II: Round 7
I know Dempsey Tunney wasn't that exciting but the controversy and the fact that Dempsey could have won make it great in my mind.
Also if I knew the round pep "won without throwing a punch" that would be here too.

It was the third round of his fight against Jackie Graves and is pure myth. Their fight was a brawl and in particular the third round in which it's reported that many punches were landed.
Pep had spoken before to some newspaper guy about pretending to punch without actually hitting the guy ie. pulling his shots so he wouldn't hurt his hands or something. The guy ran with it and I believe that was the start of the myth along with Sugar ranting about it every chance he got. It's false though.
Graves, when asked about it, didn't remember the round. Only remembered that the fight was a war and there wasn't a single round in which hard punches were not landed often.
But yeah, a myth that was taken from some of Pep's words being misunderstood and exaggerated to the point that people thought he didn't throw any punches instead of him meaning, obviously joking too, that he would throw punches but pull them and so win the round without actually having to land and hurt his hands by looking as if he was throwing and landing. Obviously in the actual fight that didn't happen though and nor would it have happened against a fighter of Graves quality.
