    Your Favorite Event?

What's your favorite event? By that I mean what's the fight you watch when you want an epic war, good commentary, good production, the full package. Not just your favorite fight, keep in mind. For me, it has to be Barrera vs. McKinney. Not only was that fight a classic, but the commentary is absolutely superb, particularly Roy Jones. Now if only I could find a better quality version...

    So, share your favorites.

Frazier-Ali I and, honestly, for all the great events I have seen come and go, I can truly say this one has no equal. None.

A long list to choose from but my favourite at the time was probably Arguello-Pryor 1.

The circumstances of the fight considering Arguello would become a 4 division Champion, Pryor was defending his undefeated record. Both fighters had alot on the line.

And of course the fact Arguello was my favourite fighter and I truley believed with all of my heart he could beat Aaron Pryor. And the fact two ATG gave it there all in an epic war.

Great fight, great event, I was upset with the outcome but the build up to it was amazing.

The UK was just so electirc when this rivalry was going on, really was a great time for UK boxing.

Absolutely. Having lived through that event left such a stong impression on me. It wasn't just a boxing event, it was a national event. The closest second would be Duran-Leonard I, which was huge. The only fight now that could even approach that level would be Pacquiao-Mayweather.

This would have got the nod from me but i was too young to really appreciate things.

SO my pick is Hatton vs Mayweather. Ricky was the UK's best loved fighter, My second favourite fighter at the time (behind Cotto) and id watched him come through the ranks from his early days, even went to a few of his fights and here he was the lil terror from Manchester taking on the worlds greatest p4p fighter Floyd Mayweather and i Genuinely believed he had a real shot what with the speed he closed the gap and his stregth and body work. The build up was top notch, the whole country was pumped for this one i assure u. Always something on tv or in the papers about it, the contrast in personalitys was massive and just made it better, the styles in ring also, the Bull and the Matador if u like. Ricky Lost but gave a good account of himself and never lost a single fan as shown by the cheers and singing for him afterwards, Floyd gained alot of fans here i think, he was superb. Also i was young free and single had just moved into a ***** hot flat with my mate and we had a rockin party, good times!
