Fighters Who Begin Careers With 6 Round Fights

Just looking around on BoxRec, it's seems it is, or perhaps, was common for very high level amateurs/olympic medalists. Are there any other fighters, let's just say from the 70's on, who began their career with a 6 rounder, that were not amateur standouts?

I'm a little confused by the wording of the question, but it has always been the standard practice to ease fighters in, there are 4 rounders, even the old-timers did so. If you think it's unusual for someone to start as a 6 round fighter. ---------------------------------------------- Les Darcy had his first fight at age 14 in 1910,... do you know how many rounds he fought that day ?????............ As far as I know, Les Darcy is the only fighter in history to fight more than 10 rounds on debut........ his first fight was a decision victory over a 28 year old pro veteran,.......... over 11 (ELEVEN) rounds, well I'll be stuffed, what an incredible debut. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- They have had 6 round fights since Battling Nelson was around,...... in the future, we may have to endure SIX rounds as the maximum distance for all fights,...... not me, I'll pass on that if it ever descends to that.
