How do you guys see the Pre-Steward version of Lewis who fought Tucker-Bruno-Ruddock etc, doing in this era. Right now.

vs Haye
vs Price
vs Chisora
vs Tony Thompson
vs ARRELOA
vs Eddie Chambers
vs Thomaz Adamek
vs Current Wladimir.

I still think he KO Current Wladimir. With Manny, Lewis became a top 3 h2h ATG and a beast at his best, but even the early 90's version is just a styles nightmare for Wlad.

Even Young Lewis had better inside fighting than Current Wlad, and he threw a lot more combinations. Body work was beautiful and his hand speed was on another level during the Ruddock-Tucker days.


Prime Lewis beats any version of Wladimir bloody. (No it won't be close as some of you 'historians' like to think)

But Young Lewis Pre Manny was more vulnerable so will be a better fight.

Lewis was all about the right hand in his younger days - if hed land it on vlad then vlad would be going to sleep no doubt about that, however i can't help but think that vlad would know how to out-think and out-manouvre such a limited opponent.

having said that I do think Lewis could just go into beat mode and make this a very physical fight. If that happened he would KO Vlad and pretty damn quickly as well.

as for other fights I think Lewis may struggle with Haye's power and speed. Vitali would be interesting because Lewis would not be able to man handle him but would have to rely on handspeed and body punches. Having said all that I still think Lewis could beat them all.

I watched him spar as a young kid against this forums "hero" and gave him everything he could handle, at 17!! He'd do fine against these men because he had much more natural ability and when your overall skills aren't developed yet your athletic ability is a huge plus! He has no problem with any on that list! Ray.
