    handicaped fighter's

can we start a list of fighter's that fought with a handicap or nagging injury
fighters I can think of are sam Langford and harry greb with eyesight issues
Donny lalonde had limited movement in his left arm due to a hockey injury.
Floyd Paterson and Rocky Marciano both had bad back's in the latter part's of
career's. Please add to the list.

Howard Winstone is the first who comes to mind, cut the tops off 3 of his fingers while working in a factory.

More recently, there was a world ranked cruiserweight who's name i can't fully remember, let alone spell.. Something like Craig Bodienovski.. Guy fought with one leg!!
Wore a prosthetic limb and fought some of the best in his division.. From what i remember, he was'nt half bad, and could go the distance aswell..

And Lenzie Morgan, tough as nails sm/lthvt, had 1st degree burns all over his face and body from an accident as a child..

There's loads more too, but can't think at the mo.

Joe Frazier broke his left arm as a young child and it wasn't treated professionally and as a result it healed oddly. Joe Frazier said in his autobiography that this was a sort of blessing and made him throw the left hook better.

That was hysterical lol. But joking aside, Vinny Pazienza broke bones in his neck before he beat Luis Santana, and trained for the fight wearing a steel neck-brace..

Willie Pep and Roberto Duran are other fighters to have recovered from serious accidents and continue fighting.

Craig Bodzianowski! He was an undefeated(13-0) cruiserweight when he lost his leg as a result of a motor cycle accident. He was told he would never fight again and after receiving a prosthetic leg decided to make a go of it. He even worked his way to a fight for the WBA cruiserweight title. Final record 31-4-1 23 kos and he never lost a fight by ko.

And then there's of course Eugene Criqui of France, who had his jaw shattered by a bullet in WWI - only to have it rebuild around a silver plate, after which he would go on to became featherweight champion of the world.

Mayweather has achieved a fair amount despite being born without a spine!

I kid, Floyd is a serious customer in there.

Seriously was gonna say Howard Winstone

That's him! i could'nt remember how to spell his name earlier.

Remember watching Craig, and as his record indicates, he was very useful. But for some odd reason, nothing was ever made of it.. Few on here will ever have heard of him,but everyone in the world has seen Oscar Pistorius who at least had the luxury of competing on level terms. Bodzianowski should indeed be remembered..
I quite vividly recall his wba title challenge vs Robert Daniels who was'nt a great cw by any means, but i thought Bod was a tadge unlucky tbh. Daniels had a rough 12 rounds, and would've been flattened given the same incapacity.
